BZSC-TC64 : BrewZilla steam condenser with the TriClamp 2″ (D=64mm) connection | KL22842

The steam condenser is an optional accessory for Brewzilla brewhouses that makes it easier to brew beer indoors without steam and condensation. The stainless steel steam condenser converts waste steam back to liquid and discharges it into a collection container or duct – without the need to install a fume hood.

The steam condenser kit connects to an existing glass or stainless steel Brewzilla brewhouse lid with a 2″ Tri-Clamp grommet (with a disc diameter of 64 mm) or directly to a distillation lid with this connection.

The lid is not included.

The steam condenser kit can also be used with other microbreweries than BrewZilla or DigiBoil, if the brewhouse lid allows the connection of a 2″ TC (64 mm) grommet.

The steam generated during the wort boiling is cooled in the exchanger using water mist from the sprayer and safely drains away as condensate, just connect a cold water hose.

Adapted for hopping during the hop boil – the blind TriClamp hole can be opened during the boil and hops can be added. For comfortable hopping, the “Dry Hop set 64 mm” can also be used as a hopper (this is not dry hopping, only safe hopping during the hop boil).

The steam condenser set includes:

• 1× 2″ TriClamp T-piece 64 mm, length approx. 340 mm
• 1× 2″ TriClamp T-piece 64 mm, width approx. 200 mm
• 1× 2″ TriClamp clamp blanking plug 64 mm
• 1× 2″ TriClamp stainless steel coupling 64 mm TC with spray head (water inlet)
• 1× 2″ TriClamp stainless steel coupling 64 mm TC with 12 mm hose outlet (for silicone hose with internal diameter 10 mm)

Main advantages

• Boil inside without moisture – the steam from boiling immediately cools in the condenser body and flows as water into a collection container or into the channel.
• Save time and energy: faster boiling and better maintenance of boiling (less heat loss to the surroundings).
• Easy installation – bring cold water to the sprayer (from the tap or from a recirculation tank/pump). Attach a hose to the condensate outlet and let the condensate flow freely into a drain or container.
• Easy cleaning: modular 2″ TriClamp parts, easy to disassemble.
• Cooling water can be collected and reused.

Safety:

• Leave the condensate outlet free: the end of the hose must drip freely into an open container/drain.
• Do not install any valve, restriction or plug on the outlet and do not immerse the hose below the water level. Any restriction creates back pressure/vacuum and can lead to damage to the brewing vessel.
• Check all connections for leaks before starting the hop brewer.
• Hot steam and condensate can burn – wear heat-resistant gloves when handling individual parts.
• The product is not intended for pressure operation.
