This cooling-heating unit is designed for indoor or covered outdoor use. The main advantages are very easy instalation without team of cooling specialists. It is produced with 3-phase (EU/USA). The product range of the air-cooled cooling units CWCH-NCEP has been developed specifically for applications in winemaking and brewing. These water re-cooling units are the solution for breweries and wineries who need the possibility of heating as well as cooling for temperature control and who are looking for a product perfectly adaptable to their needs. The CWCH-NCEP cooling units range is characterized by its high flexibility: A great number of optional features can be added to the standard equipment, for example hydraulic module, coils protection guards, isolation valves, …
Standard equipment: Flow switch, display of low-pressure and high-pressure in the controller, water filter (separately supplied), microprocessor, secured main switch for voltage control, year round operation with glycol, low-noise fan. Reversible unit also with safety thermostat.
The CWCH-NCEP cooling units are suitable to be placed outdoors, for operation in ambient temperatures between -10°C and +40°C. The permitted cool-water temperature lies between -10°C and +20°C (cooling only models). Warm water up to +45°C for the heat-pump (reversible) models. Many models are available in capacities ranging between 9 and 54 Kilowatt.
The CWCH-NCEP cooling units cover a large range of applications in winemaking, beer-brewing and other beverages production: Cold maceration, cold-fermentation, wine-stabilization (Glycol water down to -10°C), heating up the stabilized or cold-fermented wine for bottling, tempering the bottle storage hall and other cellar and storage halls.
The CWCH-NCEP functions fully automatically, and requires no supervision. The operator selects the water temperature on an electrical control board, with a digital display for the is- and set-temperature. The unit will cool or heat the water in its tank as required. The integrated pump will push the water in through the system. The CWCH-NCEP chiller works continuously. It will stop or resume its operation according to the instructions from the temperature regulation. A built-in by-pass valve is integrated in the unit. The work method is energy saving and also environmentally friendly, as no fresh water is required.
The cooling units from the CWCH-NCEP series present the ideal solution for medium sizes operations, which require heating as well as cooling, and for which compact build, simple installation and high-quality are of value.

The NCEP-C liquid chillers and the NCEP-R reversible heat pumps have been designed to meet ideally the cooling and heating requirements of the entire winemaking applications such as:
