Description

Compact machine designed to semi-automatic filling of non-carbonated or carbonated beverages (beer, cider, kombucha, sparkling wine, sparkling water) into aluminium cans.
This can filling machine is able to fill beer into cans with speed up to 10 cans (150 ml up to 500 ml) per minute (600 cans per hour).

You can fill all types of cans quickly and easily with this compact machine.
Carbonated beverages like beer, cider, sprakling wine, kombucha or sparkling water should go to the machine as cold as possible, at between 2.2 to 2.6 vols CO2 (4.4 – 5.1 grams of CO2 /liter).

Main features :

The twin head can filler includes CO2 nozzles for individually purging cans before filling with carbon dioxide. The same nozzles can also be used to apply a jet of CO2 after the filling sequence, to disturb the product which in turn creates a foam layer to push oxygen from the head space of the can, minimising dissolved oxygen in a beverage.

The filling valves are manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel for optimum hygienic integrity in the cleanest part of the machine. The ball is opened and closed on a pneumatic cylinder to control product flow. The CFS-10INSA can filler uses load cells to accurately control the fill level of the cans with accuracy +/- 1.5g. Therefore the CFS-10INSA has the most accurate and consistent method of semi-automatic filling.

The can seamer is able to close many formats of cans from 150ml beverage cans, right up to 153mm diameter tin-plate catering cans. Due to the strength of the large diameter tin cans, the can seamin unit is manufactured to be suitable with aluminium beverage cans.
The mechanism is also purely mechanical, meaning the quality of the seam is not reliant on the air flow to pneumatic cylinders.
The can seamer also has accurate base pressure adjustment through the form of a mechanical spring. This is critical to the correct formation of the can body hook and overall shape of the double seam.
Both modules are operated by push button control, for both ease of operation and operator safety.

Maximum temperature of 2°C is optimal.

The CFS-10INSA is a new compact, EHDEG compliant canning machine that is suited for beer and beverage producers looking for a semi-automated canning option.

Rated for up to 10 cans per minute, the CFS-10INSA is manufactured from marine grade stainless steel.

Disolved oxygen levels are less than 30 ppb, achieved with pre-purge and post-fill gas injection.

Suitable for all types of aluminium cans, both slimline and standard sizes (with capacity of 150 ml up to 500 ml).

How the machine works :

Cans are manually loaded on to the filling platforms, two at a time, by hand.

Once the cans are in position, the operator pushes and holds the two buttons in front of the can filling station. The valves lower down into the cans and the CO2 is released into the cans to push out the oxygen. After a set time, the filling valve opens to start filling beverage into the cans.

The filling level in the cans is controlled by either weight or time. The filling platforms are sat on scales, with accuracy +/- 1 gram.

Once the pre-determined weight or time is reached, the filling valves close. The valves lift out of the cans. Once clear of the top of the can, a final jet of CO2 is released, to foam the top of the product, to clear the head space of any oxygen.

The lids are then applied to the cans by hand before transferring the cans to the middle table.

The operator then moves the cans to the seaming station, or if being used by two operators, the can is picked from the table, and placed on the seamer lifter plate, one at a time.

The operator then pushes and holds the buttons in front of the can seaming station. The can lifts up onto the seaming chuck where the can starts rotating. The seaming rolls then engage, completing the seaming cycle. The can lowers back to the start position and it can be removed.
