Description

The forth generation of the BrewZilla 65-liter single-vessel infusion minibrewery, with an integrated pump, for high-quality beer production at home. The BrewZilla Robobrew 65L brewhouse enables simple brewing of beer from malt and hops without laborious mixing and complex filtering.

Main advantages of the BrewZilla 65L brewhouse :

  • All in One system – equipment for all phases of infusion brewing wort (mashing, boiling, filtering, hop brewing and cooling)
  • A built-in magnetic pump to circulate the wort through the malt grist ensures easy mixing without the need for a stirrer.
  • Simple control via the LCD display, the possibility of setting the temperatures and power of the brewhouse.
  • The machine is made of high quality AISI 304 stainless steel.
  • Total volume 65 liters with a maximum batch capacity of 55 liters of finished wort.

Technical properties and equipment :

  • All metal parts are made of high quality stainless steel, very easy to clean after use.
  • The built-in pump to circulate the wort during mixing for a more stable temperature and continuous filtering of the malt.
  • False bottom at the pump inlet (filtration sieve) preventing it from clogging.
  • Removable malt container for easy removal of the malt mash sludge during the wort filtration process.
  • Capacity 8 – 18 kg of malt (recommended amount is up to 15 kg).
  • Easy draining via the installed drain ball valve.
  • Tempered glass lids for more efficient heating.
  • Adjustable temperature via LCD display with the option of delayed start.
  • High heating power 3500 Watts
  • Trouble-free cooling of hot wort via the immersion cooler that is included in the package.
  • EU/CZ plug.

The package contents :

  • 1pc x 65 l semi-automatic infusion brewhouse with false bottom (filtration sieve)
  • 1pc x integrated magnetic pump with spray arm (easy to install / remove)
  • 1pc x silicone hose
  • 1pc x removable filtration container + grid against clogging of the sieve
  • 1pc x tempered glass lid with holes in the middle
  • 1pc x spiral wort cooler

Improvements over Robobrew Generation 3:

  • The control panel has a color screen and is located at the top of the pot to provide a more ergonomic working position. The angle of the control panel can be adjusted and it can also be easily removed for cleaning to avoid its damage.
  • Control unit is equipped with WiFi and Bluetooth.
  • The bottom of the brewhouse has a concave shape with a central outlet down to the pump. Along with the attached false bottom, you can pump out almost all of the wort while the lees remain in the pot.
  • The pump is easily accessible on the underside where it connects to both the ball valve and the recirculation arm. Thanks to this, you can clean the brewing unit with the CIP method.
The malt basket is approximally 30% larger, has a filter plate in the bottom part and on the side. It is equipped with a pair of extra legs so that it can be lifted in two steps during the mash hot spraying. These two improvements allow you to brew large and small wort batches seamlessly.
  • The heating element is spread over a larger area. Now you can brew lighter beer without its color being affected by caramelization.
  • Ability to connect to the RAPT portal (https://app.rapt.io/). This portal allows you to track, record and track your cooking online. The RAPT portal also allows you to save and see every brew you’ve done in the past and control the brewery remotely to start choosed steps like for example water preheating.

Why to purchase the BrewZilla brewery Gen 4  ?

The BrewZilla all-in-one brewhouse is used across the world and it won in homebrewing competitions in every country it was sold in. It is the best-selling single vessel brewing system in the world and can be used for home beer brewing, distillation of fruit alcoholic drinks, fruit canning etc.

Complete concave draining base
The new base design allows you completely drain out, meaning you capture all produced wort. No longer do you need to tilt the kettle to get every last mililiter of wort.

Protection screen for the pump under the false bottom
One of the key features of the BrewZilla single vessel units is the protection screen for the false bottom. With this screen you don’t need a whirlpool tank because it filters the wort and prevents more than 95% of hops and other solid sediments from getting sucked into the pump. No more blocked pump issues which are often a problem in other breweries with different designs.

Ultra big thermotransfer area
The BrewZilla has significantly bigger thermotransfer area and lower watt density than other brewing systems. The main advantage of a lower watt density is that you can make lighter-coloured beers that would otherwise get some caramelisation. The big thermotransfer area also means you have less chance of burning the malt crud, you get less malt crud sticking to the heating element making cleaning easier and ultimately it reduces wear and tear of the heating element meaning your heating element will last much longer.

RAPT wifi connection
The new Gen 4 model is the first BrewZilla that connects to the RAPT Portal (https://app.rapt.io/). This portal allows you to track, record and monitor your brews online. This greatly reduces the need for handwritten records of your brewing day as it’s all done automatically. The RAPT portal also allows you to see every brew you have done in the past and control the brewhouse remotely so you can start pre-heating water or simply keep an eye on the brewing process while you do something else. It will send you notifications to your mobile phone when it is time to add hops or start the boil.

Along with this ease of access and control, the RAPT BrewZilla will also allow you to fully customise your brewing day with profiles specifically tuned to your style of brewing or your recipe. You can set up your profile to sending certain alarms or messages, for example, alarm for adding malt grain when the right temperature is reached, mash-out alarm when you’re ready to sparge, for hops addition when you’ve reached the temperature of wort boiling or chilling instructions. All you have to do is the touch of a button, pre-programmed to what you want to do.

Improved base design with easy access pump
In the new base design, all the electronics are sealed on the underside of the brewhouse into a separate junction box. This significant design change means that the pump can be accessed much more easily. It also means the plumbing can be changed more easily too. For instance, you can re-arrange the plumbing to the pump, to pump wort into the tap outlet or change this so the tap outlet bypasses the pump. These changes also make it much easier to take apart the pump for cleaning and maintenance if required.

RAPT controller with full colour screen
The new RAPT controller has an easy-to-read full colour screen. The controller can easily be disconnected making wash down easier. The controller is mounted in a higher position with a tilting frame so you can angle the screen toward you depending on your height. The new controller module is packed with features and KegLand is consistently updating firmware to include more features. Firmware updates are quick and painless and with a single click you can upgrade all Gen 4 units to take advantage of new features and accessories. Forget getting on your knees mid-brew, do it all while standing or sitting next to your BrewZilla. The controller can also activate the pump. Meaning there are no toggle switches anywhere on the BrewZilla Gen 4.

Two-stage oversized malt basket
The new malt basket is 30% larger. This means that you can mash more grains and either make more beer or make higher gravity beers. The new malt basket also has a two-stage height adjustment so you can half lift the malt basket and set it on the supporting halo ring. This makes it more ergonomic because you can lift the heavy malt basket up in two stages. Another advantage is that it makes the BrewZilla more suitable for smaller batches when raising the malt basket halfway up is preferable. This model also comes with a perforated malt basket to improve mash efficiency.

Improved lid handles
The new lid handles are better designed and made from stainless steel, so they are more robust and more ergonomic to hold, especially with wet hands.

Free immersion wort cooler
The BrewZilla comes standard with a free immersion wort cooler in the box. The outer diameter of the immersion cooler to which you can connect a hose is 12.7 mm.

Detachable power cable for easy storage
The new design has a detachable power cable, allowing you to disconnect the cable for easier storage.
