Fermentation vats

Fermentation vats are simple pressureless fermenters without an upper cover or with a simple removable lid.
The open fermenters in vat shape serve for traditional non-pressure fermentation of alcoholic beverages like beer or kombucha.
The main advantage of the fermentation vats is a possibility of collectioning floated-up dead yeast from surface of fermenting liquid. This fermentation method avoid contamination of beverage with non-required dead microorganisms and keep better sensoric properties of a beverage.
