BFM4-500S : FourMan – Manual stainless steel counter pressure filler 300-500 bottles per hour

A simple manual isobaric filling mechanism for easy filling of bottles: The FourMan contains of four filling valves and has a simple design. It is suitable for filling sparkling wines, soft drinks, beer, etc., (any kind of bottle such as glass or PET). It is made from stainless steel AISI 304 and an acetal food grade plastic.

Filling capacity (maximum) :

• up to 300 pcs of bottles per hour (for bottles with volume 0.65 liters)
• up to 400 pcs of bottles per hour (for bottles with volume 0.50 liters)
• up to 500 pcs of bottles per hour (for bottles with volume 0.35 liters)

The bottles filling capacity depends on: the quality and pressure of beverage, size of bottles, the ambient temperature, the beverage temperature, the pressure of carbon dioxide, and on user’s experiences.

CHARACTERISTICS:

Hose connections :

The equipment is terminated with two silicone hoses with inner diameter of 3/8″ (9.5 mm) and outer diameter of (approximaly) 13 mm for connection with the feed hose lines. One for gas and one for liquid. A user has to connect the piping, clamps and fittings with the output from a pressure tank with a beverage and also with the carbon dioxide bottle.

We can deliver it with two reducers to easy connectable to PE beverage hoses with inner diameter of 3/8″ (9.5 mm) and outer diameter of 1/2″ (12.7 mm) using  John Guest couplers or the hose adapter.

No connection material is delivered with the filling unit.

Recommended dimensions of bottles :

The system can easily handle bottles of 230 mm high and more. Filling of very large bottles, where the needle does not reach the bottom, will require adding a short plastic hose to the end of the needle to get to the bottom of the bottle. This reduces the turbidity during filling and the foaming of the beverage. Filling of bottles smaller than 200 mm height requires the shortening the end of the filling needle.

• What bottles can be filled with this device?
  The device is designed for both glass and PET bottles with a volume of 0.35-0.65 L. The adjustable height of HDPE allows you to quickly adapt the device to different bottle sizes, suitable for bottling sparkling wines, soft drinks and beer.
• What is the real productivity per hour?
  The nominal capacity is 300-500 bottles per hour. At an optimal pressure of 2.5 bar, the real productivity is approximately 200 bottles per hour. The actual result depends on the characteristics of the drink, pressure, bottle size, temperature and user experience.
• Is the device suitable for the food industry?
  Yes. The device is made of AISI 304 stainless steel and food grade PP plastic. All connections and hoses meet food industry standards, ensuring safe bottling of beverages.
• How does isobaric bottling work?
  Bottling takes place in two stages: first, CO2 is forced into the bottle by turning the valve to one side, then the liquid is introduced into the bottle by turning the valve to the other side. The center position ends the cycle. This method preserves the carbonation of carbonated drinks.
• How easy is the device to clean?
  The drip tray, grate and main components are removable, which greatly simplifies cleaning and daily maintenance. Stainless steel surfaces are hygienic and resistant to cleaning agents used in the beverage industry.
