B1-configuration of the CCT-M modular cylindrically-conical fermentation tanks

Modular cylindrically-conical fermentation tanks CCT-M are very versatile products from our production portfolio that enable freely assemble the beer production tank to a configuration that is momentally required by user with respect to the intended use. A current configuration of the tank can be changed at any time to any other configuration according to required purpose using optional accessories and their many combinations.

More about the CCT-M modular fermentation system :

About the B1 configuration

The B1 configuration is well equipped assembly of the CCT-M tank with many options and functions, that allows a controlled fermentation of beer, cider, wine, sparkling wine, must, lemonade and other similar beverages, but also filling of beverages into packages like bottles, kegs, cans. The equipment of the fermentor allows also the final conditioning of beverages (product filtering, hops extraction into cold beer, juice flotation, additional carbonation), pushing beverages through pipes under pressure directly to pub dispenzing towers etc.

If the tank is equipped with a safety valve 0.5bar (non-pressure vessels that do not require a certification by the European Directive PED 2014/68/EU), then the tank is suitable for the production of non-carbonized beverages (wines, ciders, soft drinks) but also for the primary fermentation process of beer, cider or sparkling wines.

If the tank is equipped with a safety valve 3.0bar and certified according to PED 2014/68/EU, it can be used for both primary fermentation and maturing process of all carbonizated beverages. The configuration 3.0bar is suitable for controlled fermentation and maturation (under pressure) of all kinds of beer, cider and carbonized wines.

Equipment of the tank in the B1 allows you to set the required pressure in the tank and also monitoring of the current pressure on the manometer. The fermentation process is indicated by bubbling CO2 gas through a fermentation lock with water. Everything you need is included in the adjustable pressure valve (standard part). For the production of non-fermented beverages the adjustable pressure valve is not necessary accessory (it may be excluded from the configuration).

The tank is also equipped with a fixed or rotating spray ball with a pipe connection for easy automatic washing and sanitizing tank using the CIP station (optional equipment).

The sampling valve (standard part) allows collection of product samples to their analysis. The fermentor may be equipped with the carbonization candle with a porous stone (optional part) intended to the carbonation of a beverage before the final bottling process, using the multiport MT-DN40. The same multiport may be used also for a hops extraction into cold beer whenever some special types beer like IPA are produced in the fermentation tank. The port is also available for connection of the flotation machine (optional equipment) that is needed during the juice or cider production.

So, what is a main different between B1-assembly and other assemblies of the CCT-M modular tank ?

The pure product output-input pipe as part of the TO1 bottom disc may be fixed (standard part) or segmented (optional part) for the easy setting height of the suction according to current sedimented yeast level in the tank. The segmented variable TO1 bottom disc is useful feature to keep live yeastfor next use and to use full volume of clear product from the tank without unnecessary losses.

Very useful accessory of the tank is the filling level indicator (standard part) It is equipped with fittings for easy connection and disconnection of indicator from the tank. The filling level indicator is able to be drained, connected, disconnected and also cleaned and sanitized, but not during the fermentation and maturation process, when the beverage is under pressure in the tank. This function is available only in the B2 configuration. It is a very good feature for all beverage producers, because the purity and sterility all parts of the tank during full beverage production process are an essential conditions for producing quality beverages.

A placing of the input/output pure product valve and the tank draining valve on the end of bottom pipes front of the tank is usual for the most fermentation tanks of other manufacturers. The B1 assembly has the same feature – it is a good place for easy access to the tank with hoses.

The main different between tanks in A1-3 and B1 configuration is the file level indicator included in standard equipment of the tank.
