PRV-LPBL2B : Pressure valve (low-profile Spund G2) BallLock/DuoTight for gas with manometer, range 0-2 bar (KegLand KL29438)

Low-profile pressure valve (with range of 0-2 bar) with a manometer and the BallLock/DuoTight connection. Optimalized to use with the fermentation slim-kegs and kegerators. Delivered with the simple analog manometer which is easily replaceable for a Kegland digital manometer or pressure relief valves (up to 6.9 bar). Kegland product code : KL29438.

Easy to use and compact pressure valve is handy for keg transfers or fermentatio in pressure fermenters or kegs when you want to limit oxygen exposure to your beverage or if you plan to ferment and carbobnate your beer or cider under pressure in a keg or small fermenters.

This new improved G2 model has several advantages:

1. BallLock/DuoTight fitting connection where the gauge is attached.
This allows for a multitude of different options such as digital gauge or larger gauge to be purchased separately. You can simply upgrade it for the high-tech digital model or use it for higher limiting pressure in the keg, FermZilla or other fermenter.

2. Manual ring pull pressure relief.
– This allows for you to not only adjust the pressure with the black rotary knob but also use the ring pull to instantly release pressure if you want to release pressure in a keg manually.

3. Option for Several Colour Coded pressure relief valves to be used
KL22569 – Yellow – 1.2bar (17psi)
KL05333 – Red – 2.5bar (35psi)
KL09164 – Green – 4.5bar (65psi)
KL03070 – Grey – 7bar (100psi)

This is a low profile opton only 4.5cm in height. This pressure valve fits to standard gas BallLock connector on your fermenter or keg.

It works right out of the box but it has also several upgrade options as shown in the images.

This new Spund G2 is better designed than the older Spundy G1 model. As you can see below the older Spund G1 had a threaded gauge that was often in the incorrect orientation, had no manual pressure relief and also the injection molding was poor and did not work on all keg posts. For this reason the Spund G1 was discontinued very soon after it was sold and the newer G2 model has been released.
