BECOPAD is a new technology of depth filtration, without minerals from coarse filtration to sterile filtration.

EATON has developed this innovation in its own research. With the new process of high-purity cellulose production, BECOPAD filter plates acquire a unique structure that does not require any inorganic components for sterile filtration. BECOPAD is characterized by the highest purity. The content of ions, leachable and sensory relevant substances is lower than with all conventional depth filtration plates.

Choosing the right BECOPAD board

As with conventional depth filtration plates, BECOPAD plates can be selected according to the required filtrate quality:

BECOPAD 115 C – Sterile filtration with the highest reliability. This depth filtration medium is ideally used to protect the membrane when beverage products with difficult or unknown filterability are to be bottled after filtration through membrane filters. Fine colloids inhibiting filtration are reliably removed.

BECOPAD 120 – Sterile filtration with increased reliability. Filtration to separate bacteria from very heavily loaded or sensitive products. Sterile filtration for bottling or storage at high initial load

BECOPAD 220 – Filtration at medium initial load

BECOPAD 270 – Filtration to reduce the number of germs at low initial load
