Description
The ECA-800 external surface aerosol sterilizer is a mobile machine for the quick bacterial sterilizing the external surfaces in food industry by the chemical fog generator based on the ultrasonic mistmakers , with capacity of 600W (6 liters per hour) which is suitable for use in space of 300-600 m3.
Using an aerosol sterilizer facilitates and accelerates the achievement of bacteriological cleanliness (sterility) in spaces where food and beverages, medicines and other biologically sensitive materials are produced, stored or processed. Whole-space sterilization of external surfaces by machine-generated mist composed of microscopic droplets of chemical solutions is very easy, does not require any additional human work other than adding chemicals and turning on the machine and can be performed every day.

Why to choose the ECA ultrasonic misting systems for achieve bacterial-free environment ?
The ECA ultrasonic misting systems to improve microbiological conditions in breweries and other beverage and food processing plants since 2011.
In contrast to other (high pressure, pulse or heat) systems, ultrasonically generated aerosol (mist) contains droplets of chemical sanitizing detergent with size approximately 10 times lower, which is very easy to evaporate. The fogging by ultrasonic mistmaker generate cold and „dry“ fog.
For food facility sanitation, conventional alkaline and acid foaming washing is usually not sufficient to fully ensure microbiological safety. While this process will remove most organic and inorganic contaminants, disinfection is a key next step to destroy residual microorganisms.
Recommended sanitation procedure in food processing industry:
- Pre-washing with water – removal of coarse dirt.
- Application of alkaline detergent – removal of fats, proteins.
- Rinsing with water.
- Application of acidic detergent – removal of mineral deposits (e.g. limescale).
- Rinsing with water.
- Disinfection – e.g. using cold dry fog, spray or foam with a disinfectant effect.
- Drying (optional) – important for some technologies, especially before production.
Main advantages of the dry fog disinfection
- Significant reduction in the total number of microorganisms (mold, yeast, spores, bacteria, viruses) in all surfaces in a room.
- Reduction in dust.
- Possibility of treating hard-to-reach areas.
- Dry fog sanitizing is gentle on mechanical and electronical devices.
- No additional exhaust gases from the engine
- No pressurized water, no high-pressure pumps
- Speed, economy, efficiency
- No mechanical spreading required.
- Leaves minimal moisture – beneficial for water-sensitive environments.
- Effective against a wide range of microorganisms (depending on the product).
- The ECA sanitizing devices are designed for demanding conditions (temperature, humidity).
- The devices are easy to operate, practically maintenance-free, universal for various types of disinfectants.
- An aerosol reaches everywhere that conventional foaming and rinsing cannot reach. It covers the entire 3D space, so you can treat especially places that cannot be easily and well cleaned for spatial or other reasons.
- Just like after gassing, you do not have to rinse the spaces afterwards, because ECA ultrasonic fogging creates a very fine aerosol that leaves no traces. Physically, it is an area between dewing and gassing.
- Each of our ECA unit has anti-corrosion treatment.
- Running is very quiet. No additional exhaust gas from the engine.
- No pressure water, no high pressure pumps.
- Production of this mist is more effective and ecological, because consume a substantially smaller amount of desinfection and electricity then another systems.
- The device is mobile or portable.
- Simple control.
- Easy and quick connection to a pressurized water.
