Description
The automatic can filling line CFL-6000IC is fully equipped filling technology with the operation capacity up to 6000 bottles or cans per hour (the capacity is valid for 0.33L cans). It consists of these components and blocks :
- Depalletiser – Equipment for automatic loading of empty aluminum cans directly from pallets into the filling line.
- Drying conveyor – equipment for drying of the unpacked empty cans with air before the filling
- Filler/Seamer – Automatic monoblock machine for filling and closing the aluminium cans
- Nitrogen doser – Equipment for pre-filling the cans with sterile nitrogen
- X-ray inspection machine – Unit for the cans integrity checking and cans damage detection, used also for the filling level control system
- Wraparound carton packer – machine for packing the full cans into carton packages
The cans filling line is designed to be easy operated and controlled only with one worker.
The cans filling line consists of these main units :
De-palletiser
Equipment for automatic loading of empty aluminum cans directly from pallets into the filling line.
The standalone can de-palletiser is designed to utilise a small footprint whilst providing the ability for capacity of up to 10,000 cans per hour. Our de-palletiser offer the flexibility of easily and quickly, changing between can sizes without causing long delays on production.

Equipment for drying of the unpacked empty cans with air before the filling
Filler/Seamer
Automatic monoblock machine for filling and closing the aluminium cans
- Isobaric (counterpressure) filling system
- Product to be filled : beer, carbonated cider, wine, sparkling wine, carbonated lemonades, carbonated water, kombucha etc.

- The cans fill machines are specific isobaric (or gravity) machines for filling and capping aluminium cans.
- All the machine components that are in contact with the product are in AISI 304 stainless steel or food-friendly plastic materials.
Filling unit description :
- 16 filling heads
- Cans entry using an auger
- Cans handling using a star disc and external guides
- Gears in hardened steel and special plastic material which minimizes lubrication needs
- Annular tank, in stainless steel, inspectable internally polished and externally satin-finished.
- The beverage product is fed from above through central distribution, made of AISI 304 stainless steel
- Large diameter ball base bearing for rotation of the filling core
- Filling valves with automatic opening and the cans lifting jack
- AISI 304 stainless steel filling valves
- Adjustable level without replacing the parts
- CO2 injection before filling the cans and subsequent further injection of CO2 during the lifting and sealing phase of the filling valve, and automatic pressurization of the can
- Lifting jacks for cans, pneumatically powered. Pressure regulation is located in the electrical panel.
- Stainless steel level control probes.
- Predisposition for the normal sanitation cycle.
- Special sanitation equipment on specific request (options).
Cans capping unit description :
- Number of can sealing heads : two
- Upper part od heads is made of cast iron with surface Nickel plating
- Fixed table for loading the cans
- Height-adjustable head by means of 2 steel columns (to easily change the height of the equipment)
- Rotating crimps
- Motorization with a 4 KW SEW motor and inverter for a capacity from 20 to 100 CPM
- Cans feeding belt for connection with rotary filler
- Flywheel for manual handling
- Bubble breaker system
- Lid presence sensor
- Safety photocell located at the exit of the seamer conveyor
- Conveyor between the cans filling unit and the cans capping unit
- The machine is delivered in standard configuration with all parts needed for operation with one cans format (cans 330 ml)
General characteristics :
Structure :
- Material AISI 304 stainless steel
- Large doors for inspection and internal light for routine maintenance.
- The frame structure has been designed to allow an easy disposal of liquids poured in it.
- The basic structure accommodates: input auger, transfer star, conveyor
- Supports, in Aisi 304 stainless steel, with adjustment for machine leveling
Mechanical characteristics :
- The transmission unit is located inside the base structure and is formed by a main gear made of high-strength steel, which ensures efficient and silent movement of the cans; distributes movement to the whole system.
- The main control gear distributes the movement to the whole system.
- The gear of the star for transferring cans at the input is built with a special plastic material to avoid noise and needs for lubrication. All other gears are made of steel.
Lubrication system
- Mainly the machine is self-lubricated. The few internal / external and upper points of the machine can be greased without any contact with the beverage product.
Pneumatic system
- The centralized pneumatic system controls the lifting of the cans using the pneumatic lift jacks and is equipped with pressure regulation, filter, lubrication with compressed air and air supply to the cans capping unit.
Security functions
- The machine is equipped with safety protections according to CE standards
- The frames of the panels are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, the windows are made of a special transparent plastic material.
- There are small openings at the entrance and exit of the conveyor belts for handling cans.
- During operation, any opening of a door stops the machine.
Nitrogen doser
Equipment for pre-filling the cans with sterile nitrogen. The nitrogen is supplied to the doser by a vacuum insulated hose and flows into the dosing head. A sensor detects the speed of the line (encoder compatible); a second sensor detects the presence of a can. When a can is detected, the dosing head opens and dispenses an exact amount of pure nitrogen .
X-ray inspection machine
Unit for the cans integrity checking and cans damage detection, used also for the filling level control system.
Notes for use of X-ray equipment:
The construction of the X-ray devices is checked and certified by a competent official German institute. In any case, depending on the rules valid in the end-user country, the use of an X-ray source may be subject to license request.
Heuft makes available the official approval and a copy of the generator’s final check document (Unit Check document).
The use and the possession will have to be reported to the appropriate authorities and all the rules provided by local legislation have to be observed.
The report to the appropriate authorities and all relevant procedures are under the responsibility and competence of the device’s end-user who must comply with the requirements of local legislation.

Warranty : 12 months.
