BRD-A3000 : Automatic washing and drying machine for the external bottle surface 1500-3000 bph

The bottle washing-drying machine BRD-A3000 is suitable for the external washing of full glass bottles and glass bottles closed with the cork or the cap. Capacity is from 1500 up to 3000 bottles per hour.
The machine is supplied with two integrated stations :
1st station is equipped with a rotating carousel for the washing
2nd station is equipped with the linear conveyor for the drying of the bottles.

How the machine works :

The washing station (rotating carousel with 6 bottle-platforms) performs the washing of the external surface of the bottles. The washing action of the body is achieved thanks to 4 external brushes.
To increase the washing performance, the bottles are forced to rotate on their axis by means of a gearing system. The self-motorized washing brushes are rotating in the opposite direction. The brushes are made of a selected nylon material to resist even at high temperature of the water.
The water is sprayed directly on the brushes by means of adjustable spraying nozzles.
A top brush is intended for the washing of the bottle’s neck. The height of the neck washing brush is adjustable to fit any bottle formats.
An additional small brush is intended for the washing of the bottle bottom (with external knurled edge).

The drying station (linear section) dries the bottles by means of two blowing pipes (adjustable to fit different bottles) feeding hot air on the entire external bottle surface. The blown air is always in temperature about 25/30°C higher than the ambient environment.
Inside the drying station the bottles are rotating on their axis. This way the air, supplied from the blowing pipes under pressure, is spread thoroughly on all the bottle surface, removing the water drops efficiently.
The model BRD-A3000 is built totally in stainless steel AISI 304 and several parts are made only in materials guaranteed for long-term resistance to water contact.
The machine is supplied complete with change parts for one format of a cylindrical glass bottle and with safety panels.
The machine output is adjustable from 1.500 up to 3.000 bph, by means of a potentiometer located on the control panel.

The machine is ready to be installed in an automatic bottling line. The user will have to provide connections of the machine to the water supply net as well as to the electric supply net (standard supply voltage 380-420V 50 Hz / 3-phase).

WORKING SEQUENCE

1. The bottles coming from the conveyor are spaced by the infeed screw to enter inside the infeed star wheel.
2. The infeed star wheel drives the bottle inside the rotary carousel in the washing section.
3. At the exit of the washing station, another star wheel drives the bottle to a motorized conveyor section, inside the drying station.
4. At the end of the drying station, the bottles are guided to the main conveyor of the bottling line.
5. The machine is equipped with timers to adjust the stopping time of the blowing fans: when the outfeed photocell is stopping the machine (in case of bottles accumulation), the blowing fans will go on blowing for some more time to dry the bottles inside.
