Description
Professional plate chiller, two-chamber plate heat exchanger model with 38 plates. Two separate connections for cooling water.
The biggest drop in temperature takes place in the first chamber which is usually cooled with cold water at temperature 8-15°C.
In the second chaber iced water (with glycol) at temperaure usually -4°C up to +2°C further chills the wort to a temperature 2°C higher than the temperature of the cooling water.
Cooling capacity : This plate chiller is designed to cooling up to 1150 litres/hour of wort from about 95°C to 2°C above the cooling water temperature with 2 x 3500 litres of cooling water. For example, if you chill with water at temperature 10°C, then 12°C is the lowest temperature of outgoing wort you can achieve.
