Description
Perfect solution of the inline (flow-through) beverage deaerator and the beverage carbonator in one compact system. Flow capacity up to 1000 liters per hour. Machine designed to removing air from a drink and saturation of a drink with carbon dioxide before its filling into sales containers.
Why do you need a beverage carbonator with a deaerator ?
Beer, alcoholic cider and wine have naturally dissolved carbon dioxide (CO2) in them, that only need a boost of carbon dioxide to desired level before its filling into sales containers.
Soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and water are different in their properties: water is naturally rich in atmospheric air. This air needs to be removed before the CO2 can be added to make carbonated drinks and water.
Otherwise the water will not be saturated correctly and will reject the molecules of the carbon dioxide. Immediately as a bottle is opened, the carbon dioxide will release from the beverage. With fizz iit will disperse rapidly, causing the water or drink to go flat from the bottle.
For this reason before carbonating water for preparation of carbonated soft drinks, it is necessary to use a separate additional unit to the carbonating unit called a deaerator.
The water will pass first in a vertical column with an air separator that extracts any dissolved natural air (composed of nitrogen and oxygen) by means of a vacuum pump.
Stripped of the atmospheric air that previously occupied its space in the water, your beverage is now ready to be saturated with CO2 in the carbonation unit to give the water or soft drink a tangy tickling taste.

Carbon dioxide analyzer
The compact automatic in-line carbonator is equipped with a very quality carbon dioxide flow-through analyzer.
MT InPro 5500 carbon dioxide flow-through meter has been developed for in-line CO2 measurements in brewery and carbonated soft drink and water processes. The sensor utilizes the well-proven thermal conductivity method to determine CO2 in liquids. The METTLER TOLEDO has combined this technology with the simplified handling and predictive diagnostics features of the unique Intelligent Sensor Management (ISM) concept.ISM‘s pre-calibration and Plug and Measure functions ensure fast, error-free measurement point start up.The Dynamic Lifetime Indicator and the Adaptive Calibration Timer enable predictive maintenance planning to keep the sensor at peak performance at all times.
The InPro 5500 i will help breweries and carbonated soft drink producers maintain product quality and control CO2 costs by providing accurate in-line measurements in carbon dioxide critical processes.
