The sanitary adapter is intended to flush the beverage line with water or a sanitizing solution. It will be connected instead of two KEG barrels to one end of the sanitized pipe/hose. The sanitary set includes two KEG connectors :

A-type (FLACH coupler)
S-type (BAJONET coupler)
