Description
Disc valve (butterfly valve) DN40 with inlet DN40 DIN 32676 “TriClamp” and outlet DN40 DIN 32676 “TriClamp”, with security locking device and gaskets. For use with pipe lines or tanks equipped with DIN 32676 “TriClamp” DN40 throat-connection . Fully sanitary union designed especialy for food production processiong technologies. K-design.
Description :
The disc valves (called also butterfly valves) are used to close and open the medium flow in the pipeline. When using the manual lever control, the disc valve has three basic positions: closed, open and half-open.
Closing of the butterfly valve with a regulating screw allows for greater accuracy of flow regulation. Control can be automated with electric or pneumatic actuators.
The butterfly valve consists of the valve body, a gasket and two TriClamp flanges (Standard of DIN 32676), neck, core, core seal and control.
The internal seal of the valve is made of silicone or EPDM (according to version choosed).
This type of the disc butterfly valve is supplied in sizes DN15 up to DN100.
