Description
The WTRO-1000 industrial reverse osmosis unit is designed for perfect demineralization of water without the use of chemicals. During the reverse osmosis process, up to 90% of organic substances, including microorganisms, are also removed from the water. The unit is designed as a single-stage system with a capacity of up to 1000 liters of osmotic water per hour (this value may vary depending on the measured values of the filtered water). The unit is equipped with a mechanical filter (100 μm) on the water inlet pipe to capture small impurities and rust particles. The entire water filtration process is fully automated.
Unlike commonly available units, the WTRO-1000 measures the input and output conductivity of the water and the operator can increase the conductivity of the permeate by mixing in concentrate using precise regulation. For the reverse osmosis unit to function properly, it is necessary to install a water treatment plant upstream of the system, which will remove iron from the water and soften it.
Recommended use : Food / beverage industry.

Product purpose, technical limitations :
1. The WTRO-1000 reverse osmosis unit is intended for water filtration
2. Use in any other way than specified by the manufacturer is in conflict with the WTRO-1000 units
3. This device must be operated only by persons who are familiar with its properties and are familiar with the relevant regulations for its operation.
4. Any arbitrary changes made by the user to this device relieve the manufacturer of any liability for subsequent damage or injury!
5. If the nature of the device allows its use for other purposes that are not listed in its designation or prohibited activities, the user is obliged (if he wants to carry out this activity) to consult this action with the manufacturer.
6. The maximum allowable pressure in the low pressure section is 6 Bar
7. The maximum allowable pressure in the high pressure section is 16 Bar
8. The unit is not designed for operating underpressure
9. The pressure vessel can be operated in the temperature range of +5 to + 50°C
10. The working fluid of the WTRO-1000 unit is treated water
11. The unit is not ATEX certified and cannot be placed in explosive environments
Requirements for proper operation of the reverse osmosis unit :
- The reverse osmosis unit must be preceded by a mechanical filter if the water source is not from the water mains. The reverse osmosis unit contains its own mechanical filter, but for safety reasons we recommend that you install one more mechanical filter before the unit.
- The reverse osmosis unit must be preceded by a water treatment plant that softens the water to the lowest possible level of german units and fully removes iron and manganese.
- The inlet water must meet :
a.) Inlet pressure 2–4 Bar
b.) Temperature 5–45 °C
c.) Flow rate 1400 l/hour
d.) Ph 3–10
e.) Max. chlorine concentration 0.1mg/L - The membranes must be always flooded. If they dry out, they may be irreversibly damaged.
- Electrical input 2700W

Pipe connections :
The WTRO-1000 unit has a total of 4 pipe connections. As standard, they are terminated with a male thread type 308 ISO228 with a size of G1/2″. This type and size can be replaced with any other type of pipe connection according to the customer’s specifications.
For the correct functioning of the WTRO-1000 reverse osmosis unit, we recommend a minimum water inflow of 1400l/hour.
We also recommend not directly connecting OUT1 and OUT2, so that in the event of a fault, one output is not overpressured by the other.
You can feed either unfiltered water to the IN2 pipe, which you feed to the IN1 input, or you can use concentrate from the OUT2 output.
IN1 | Water inlet | G 1/2″ male |
OUT2 | Permeate inlet | G 1/2″ male |
OUT1 | Concentrate outlet | G 1/2″ male |
IN2 | Mixing inlet | G 1/2″ male |
Dimensions :
The floor plan dimensions of the WTRO-1000 reverse osmosis unit are 705x400mm with a height of 1621mm. The unit is mounted on height-adjustable feet that eliminate floor slope. The unit can be placed in the production area against the wall, with all serviceability only from the front side. In the case of membrane replacement or service of the connecting pipe, it is necessary to access the unit from the rear.
