RMKL-1: Refractometer (KegLand KL25072)

The Kegland optical refractometer for rapid determination of the density of beer wort based on the light refractive index. The measured values are read directly on the scale visible in the eyepiece.

This refractometer model is equipped with an LED backlight to help illuminate the sample and make the scale easier to read.

The refractometer is equipped with a waterproof cover, thanks to which the refractometer can handle short-term contact with splashing water and which makes it possible to use it in a humid environment.
The refractometer is used to measure unfermented wort. Once alcohol is present in the beer wort, it is recommended to use a correction table.
The refractometer is equipped with a triple scale for use in brewing, winemaking and the distillation of alcoholic beverages.
Automatic temperature compensation (ATC) – the refractometer is equipped with automatic temperature compensation in the range of 10-30° C.
