WTS-30 is the water treatement system that includes the water dechlorination with active carbon filter – Fully automatic filter with a filter bed of activated carbon is used for filtration of water – remove of substances of organic origin and certain inorganic substances such as chlorine, pesticides, heavy metals, etc. The equipment also removes unpleasant odors and generally improves the taste of the treated water. Flow rate up to 2000 liters per hour.
The backing layer is composed of quartz sand.
The device consists of a pressure vessel made of polyethylene and fiberglass reinforced fiber, and the control valve.

Technical description :
Automatic Activated Carbon filters
Activated carbon filters with automatic backwash of the filtering bed. The media filter includes a layer of selected quartz-sand spheroidal shape and a layer of activated carbon. The activated
carbon is granular type, with different grain-size, and selected for water treatment, with high capacity in mechanical filtration, chemical (reduction) and chemical-physical (adsorption) actions. The backwashing of the media filter is automatically controlled. All construction materials are no-toxic and suitable for drinking water (according to DM 174/2004 Italian Ministry of Health).
Vessel in fiberglass reinforced polyester resin, selected pure quartz-sand, granular activated carbon, control valve.
A special by-pass built-in the control valve warrants the feeding of (untreated) water even during regeneration cycle.
The working of the unit is handled by an electronic programmer of the latest technology, MULTI-P, computerized with microprocessors, and low tension working (12 V), by mean of a transformer built-in the power supply cable.
The equipment allows to schedule the time of day and the day of the week, when the regeneration is featured (time control). The programmer allows to enter further working modes (for
volume programmes, a pulse sender water meter should be provided):
Delayed volume: regeneration starts afterthat the pre-set volume of water has been supplied, but at a pre-set time of day and days.
Immediate volume: regeneration starts immediately, when pre-set volume is reached, regardless of time
Service time: starting from a fixed time, the regeneration is repeated at pre-set interval of hours.
Another available feature is the compulsory regeneration: it allows to enter how often a regeneration runs, according to a pre-set numbers of days.
Further functions of MULTI-P programmer are:
- Starting a regeneration from remote
- Inhibition of regeneration starting from remote
- Signal of running regeneration (free voltage contact available)
- Data & statistics processing & memory: number of regenerations featured, volume of treated water (only for models with pulses water meter), time and days of last regeneration run.
The display of programmer indicates continuously, during service, current time and day and the available volume of treated water (only for volume controlled models); during regeneration,
instead, it indicates the running phases of regeneration, with decreasing of the time of each phase. The time of each phase of the regeneration can be also adjusted, in order to fit the working
of the unit to the special applications and to avoid useless waste of water for regeneration .
The terminal board, available on the rear side of the programmer, allows a simple and easy connections with pulse sender instruments and to remote utilities (signal of running regeneration, remote inhibition of regeneration start, remote control of regeneration start).
Auxiliary push-button regeneration start, regardless of any pre-set automatic programme. The regeneration will be automatically completed and the unit will turn on service mode.
