Description
The PED certificate is a necessary document for every pressure device with a permissible pressure greater than 0.5 bar (0.5 MPa), which is intended for use in European countries and in other countries that use and accept European technical standards.
The PED certificate and related technical documentation declares that the pressure equipment was manufactured in accordance with European standards EN 13445 and PED 2014/68/EU (Pressure Equipment Directive).
It is not legal to use pressure equipment without a PED certificate. Together with the PED certificate, we deliver a complete “passport of pressure equipment”, i.e. the technical documentation of a specific pressure equipment prescribed by European laws and standards, which contains all records of the design proposal, calculations, production, tests, revisions, location and operation of the pressure equipment.
We supply the PED certificate only for new pressure equipment. It is not possible to deliver a PED certificate separately, without a specific new pressure vessel. It is not possible to deliver a PED certificate to already existing pressure equipment that was manufactured without legal PED technical documentation.
