STTC-FC178 Single tank temperature controller FermCont FIX is used in Breworx breweries and cider lines for measuring and control of temperatures in tanks (HWT, ITWT, ICWT, CCT, OFV, BBT …). This temperature controller is designed for fix instalation, directly on the tank. The controller cooperates with  other components of the TTMMCS (Tank temperature manual measurement & cooling system). All the measuring and control system is Designed in Germany.

A fundamental factor for producing great beer, cider or wine is a well-controlled fermentation and maturation process. The brewer, cider maker or wine maker has the temperature control as a means of intervention in the process of fermentation. However it is not only about reaching an “optimal” temperature but rather about having the right temperature at each stage of the fermentation process. An electronic temperature control offers safety during the fermentation and maturation, saves time, energy, costs, and above all, serves to improve the quality of your product.

The temperature controller for individual tanks STTC-FC180 FermCont , with an integrated temperature sensor and a data interface that can be connected to a PC, represents one of the methods of electronic temperature control. The controller is screwed directly into the tank by means of an immersion socket. This allows the wine maker to set or re-set the temperature right at the tank. As a safety measure, it is possible to determine a temperature range above or beneath which an optic alarm will be given.

The controller’s double display shows the actual and preset temperature (value) in separate displays. Additionally, a LED light shows the actual mode of operation: cooling or heating.

The STTC-FC178 is available in two versions :

• STTC-FC178F – ‘FIX’ with a lose cable end for a fixed installation
• STTC-FC178V – “VARIO”  with a plug end for a variable inst

As accessory are available connection boxes – FIX or VARIO – for running a comfortable and simple installation.

This temperature controller is the ideal solution for every brewer, cider or wine maker who wishes to have the temperature displayed right on the tank and who prefers a fixed installation of the temperature controller on the tank. The FermCont can also be software controlled with the TempInfo software. Adjustment of tank temperature can be made either physically on the tank or in the office through the software installed on a PC Server. The FermCont controller can also be completely integrated in the bus system TempInfo.

Connection box

STTC-CB100F Connection box for the FermCont temperature controller FIX/IP65

The STTC-CB100F is a connection box for the STTC-FC178F Single tank temperature controller. It is used for the connection between the STTC-FC178F controller, the power supply and (optionally) the control computer. The STTC-CB100F and the STTC-FC178F FermCont are equipped for a fixed installation. All the this measuring and control system is Designed in Germany.

Sensor socket

The socket with inner diameter 7mm , length 190mm , is designed for welding or screwing connection on the tank. The STTC-FC178F controller will be inserted into the socket.

Electrical regulation valves

The motorized or solenoid valves for regulation of water/glycol cooling systems. It is used for a quick opening and closing of the coolant pipe way of the one tank cooling zone. Each the motorized or solenoid valve is connected to the STTC-CB100 connection box. Designed in Czech republic.

Pipe Y-strainer filters

The pipe Y-strainer filter is used as protecion element for recommended cooling systems with solenoid valves.
