The NIG-NM300P is a nitrogen generator based on a pressure swing adsorption (PSA) gas separation method with the production capacity up to 450 liters of the nitrogen gas per hour (with 99% purity). Max. pressure: 8 bar. An oil-free air compressor is built-in the nitrogen generator.  In addition, the generator is equipped with a built-in gas mixer which can provide two different mixtures of same.Very cheap solution for small breweries – the nitrogen is useful as an inert push gas (for transport of product between pressure vessels or into the dispensing equipment in the pub) instead of expensive CO2.   Made in Germany.

The package includes :

  1. Compressor, gas separation module
  2. Electronic control unit with display for compressor pressure and nitrogen pressure.
  3. Gas blender for CO² and N²
  4. The nitrogen generator is ready for operation after connection to the power supply and the pressure vessel.

 

 

About PSA technology

nig-A300-500pAdsorption is the adhesion of atoms, ions, or molecules from a gas, liquid, or dissolved solid to a surface. This process creates a film of the adsorbate on the surface of the adsorbent. This process differs from absorption, in which a fluid (the absorbate) is dissolved by or permeates a liquid or solid (the absorbent), respectively. Adsorption is a surface-based process while absorption involves the whole volume of the material. The term sorption encompasses both processes, while desorption is the reverse of it. Adsorption is a surface phenomenon.
